Consultations

Consultations are by appointment only. We provide consultations on all wedding cake orders serving 50 people or more.

When inquiring for your wedding cake, please be sure to provide the following info:

Date of event
Venue Location
Number of guests attending
How the cake will be serve: main dessert or late night sweet table
Style or design desired
Approximate budget for the cake

Your appointment should take about 60-90 minutes. Please arrive on time as we may have other consultations booked immediately after yours. Due to limited seating space, we allow for 2 people and 1 additional guest. Since this appointment can be lengthy and we do not have a play area, we recommend that children be left at home. We require a non-refundable 50% deposit to book your wedding cake to reserve your date. In order to best make use of our time, please be sure to bring along any or all of the following:

fabric or color samples
dress designs or images
cake designs or images
floral information
topper, if you have it already
invitation design samples

Tastings

You may schedule a cake tasting with us when you call to book your consultation. There will be various cake flavours and filling options to mix and match. Our cake tastings are subject to a non-refundable $25 fee payable by either Mastercard or Visa. Cake tastings are available for all wedding cake orders serving 65 or more. Since we prepare our samples fresh, we must receive payment at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled tasting appointment. Should you choose to book your wedding cake with Just Like Gram`s, the $25 fee will be applied to your order. At this time, we do not offer tastings for special occasion cakes.

Cancellations

Please call ahead if you must cancel your consultation. If you are going to be late for your appointment, please call and inform us. Please note that all our tastings are confirmed to a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you miss your appointment or do not give us adequate notice, your fee will not be refunded.
